Tomorrow is the day!!

Okay so tomorrow I get my braces on!! I decided to do a little post now because I'm feeling a little nervous 😩 My last blog post, I had just had 2 teeth extracted. I had woke the next morning with only a little bleeding and my gums were sore. Little update on that....the second morning I woke up and looked like someone had punched me in the mouth....it was awful. There was blood all over my pillow....all over my mouth...couldn't find my gum through the blood. I don't know what caused it! The dentist did say I might have some bleeding... I cleaned the gum and rolled up a piece of gauze and bit down on it for pressure to stop the bleeding. I put pressure on it for 15 minutes but the bleeding didn't stop and I had to do it a second time. By this point I was a little hysterical...never one to suffer silently....I woke my boyfriend, crying and trying to speak through the wad of kitchen roll in my mouth. It was ridiculous! After half an hour the bleeding stopped and I haven't had any issues since! I have been taking paracetamol every day for the gum on my left side.

So tomorrow....I finally get braces!! I have been trying to get braces for a while now and have been feeling beyond frustrated! I didn't seem to be getting anywhere with my last dentist and moved to my current dentist in a final bid to get my teeth sorted!! I don't know why I'm so nervous. 

I don't think I have got over last weeks ordeal 😂 literally spent the weekend asking myself "why am I doing this?"..."surely nothing is worth this pain"....😂

I am so excited to finally get braces and have straight teeth but it is scary.... My appointment is 40 minutes long!!! I'm watching videos on YouTube at the minute of people getting their braces put on so I kind of know what to expect. (There are so many vlogs about adult braces) It doesn't look sore...but the forums I read about teeth extractions did not prepare me for last week....(they said such nonsense as "its not sore getting teeth out" and "I had no pain after") 😑 I had 2 perfectly healthy teeth pulled out of my face...it obviously wasn't going to tickle but seriously!! 😭 

I will hopefully have some pictures tomorrow when the braces are on! Wish me luck!!
